On Tour with Addison Rae

Starting in Europe, heading through the US, and ending in Australia; Luca Abatemarco has spent the last several months working on Addison Rae’s debut tour. We checked in with Luca at his latest show in Denver, picking his brain on his personal process and the strategies he employs to stay sharp and ready to deliver.

“In rehearsal, the enthusiastic, collaborative part of my brain kicks in. I love being in the studio, ready to help the artist and MD explore their creative vision. When it comes time to do the show, the scientist in me takes over and makes sure everything is watertight. As the tour progresses, I am constantly iterating and improving our systems. A live show is exactly that, live, I always want to ensure that I am adaptable and flexible to any roadblocks that might arrive.”

– Luca Abatemarco, Playback Engineer, Addison Rae

We’re also incredibly grateful to the team behind the scenes at WFB Music for their direction and vision, and 1826 for bringing such a talented crew together. It’s been inspiring to watch this show grow from an idea into a fully realized production.

Good luck on the rest of the tour Luca, we can’t wait to see what’s next for you and Addison.
